Refund & Cancellation Policy
Last Updated: September 14, 2026 · Effective Date: September 14, 2026
JazzuCourt adheres to fair trade standards and consumer protection guidelines established by the Consumer Act of the Philippines (R.A. 7394) and the Internet Transactions Act of 2023 (R.A. 11967). This policy ensures transparent, equitable, and prompt remedies for cancellations, weather disruptions, and venue closures.
1. Online Booking Consumer Protections
As an online platform operating in Balangkayan, Eastern Samar, JazzuCourt guarantees transparent booking conditions. Players are informed of all slot rules prior to booking confirmation. In accordance with DTI fair trade guidelines, you are entitled to full remedies whenever reserved facilities cannot be provided as scheduled.
2. Weather Disruptions & Force Majeure (Eastern Samar Climate)
Eastern Samar is subject to tropical weather conditions, heavy rains, and typhoons. Under Philippine law regarding unforeseen events (force majeure) and sports safety:
- Inclement Weather on Outdoor Courts: If rainfall, wet surface ponding, severe wind, or official PAGASA weather alerts render an outdoor court unplayable or hazardous, players are entitled to a 100% full refund or free priority rescheduling.
- Venue-Declared Closures: If a court operator in Balangkayan closes courts due to emergency maintenance, power outages, or community safety directives, all affected bookings are automatically cancelled with a full refund.
3. Player-Initiated Cancellations
To balance player flexibility with fair compensation for local court operators:
- Advance Notice (24+ Hours Before Start Time): Eligible for a 100% full refund to your original payment channel or instant full booking credit on JazzuCourt.
- Late Notice (Under 24 Hours): Because venue operators cannot reasonably rebook reserved slots on short notice, late cancellations may be subject to a reasonable administrative fee or may be non-refundable.
- No-Shows: Failure to attend a confirmed booking without prior notification is strictly non-refundable.
4. Prompt Refund Timelines
In compliance with DTI e-commerce standards, approved refunds are processed without unnecessary delay:
- Digital / Wallet / GCash / Card Payments: Processed within 3 to 7 business days depending on banking channels.
- JazzuCourt Booking Credit: Credited immediately to your account for future court reservations in Eastern Samar.
5. Dispute Mediation & DTI Redress
If an on-site dispute arises regarding court conditions, access, or refunds, contact our Balangkayan operations team at dalumiasjude@gmail.com or call +63 915 508 7138. We will mediate the dispute within 3 to 5 business days. You also preserve your legal right to file consumer grievances with the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Eastern Samar Provincial Office.
